Jordan Information...

The EuroBOSS Series, Europe’s fastest motor racing series, continues to grow in stature following its recent elevation to an ‘International Racing Series’ by the FIA. sixteen races at eight double-header events are planned during 2006 at prestigious circuits across Europe, including Mondello Park, Brands Hatch, Zandvoort and Resort Ascari.

The 2006 EuroBOSS Series is open to Indy Car and pre-2001 Formula One and F3000 chassis with engines of unlimited capacity. The performance of these hybrid cars, which compete on slick tyres, is stunning, the start is noisy and nostalgic and the racing fast and furious.

The Series aims to stir the passion of all motorsport fans…with just a little assistance from the howling V10 Benetton, Tyrrell and Ascari and the thundering V8 Reynard and Simtek with occasional appearances by a screaming V12 Ferrari. The open paddock and relaxed atmosphere provides fans with the opportunity to touch, admire and be photographed with some of the world’s most famous cars.

The aim of the EuroBOSS Series is to offer spectators and competitors the best value for-money event in European Motorsport. With a starting grid of up to 20 cars and an open paddock, it’s not surprising that interest in the Series is growing year on year.

Cars are able to compete to their full high-speed potential and race on Avon tyres supplied by UK Midlands-based BMTR and Vereeken Motorsport from Belgium, both the official distributors for Avon Racing Tyres. As a result, teams competing in the EuroBOSS Series have been responsible for setting outright lap records at 16 UK and European circuits.

Competitors have progressed from the series for European Big Open Single Seaters – EuroBOSS – to race in the FIA F3000 Championship, the FIA World Sportscar Championship and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. One EuroBOSS team even went on to purchase Minardi and enter Grand Prix racing!

EuroBOSS has been a part of the national motorsport calendar for many years and now, with its new International Racing Series status, its popularity is extending across Europe
